FloodStop 38C automatically shuts off the water supply to dishwashers, toilets, ice makers and refrigerators and sounds an alarm when a leak is detected. Each kit includes one motorized ball valve with 3/8" Compression fittings, a control unit, a water/leak sensor and an AC power adapter.
All appliances with water connections may leak or burst causing a disaster, and you will never know when that disaster may strike. Any leaking device can do extreme damage to your home. Even a small, slow leak can soak into the sub flooring and cause the wood to decay. Leaking water may also seep into carpeting, create mildew and permanently stain your walls. If you are away, leaks and water damage can go undetected for hours or even days.
NEW FEATURES:
- Motorized Ball Valve.
- Controller has Battery Port for 4 C size batteries, which will serve as the Primary Power Source if a nearby electrical outlet is not available. When using the AC wall adaptor/transformer the same batteries serve as a backup power source if an electrical power interruption/outage takes place.
- Controller has Outputs for connection to Alarm or Home Automation system if desired to automatically alert the property owner if the FloodStop was activated.
