The Mier Driveway Monitor Vehicle Sensor uses a metal sensing probe to alert you of a vehicle entering your driveway. The controller has a built-in whistle and a relay output to connect to remote whistles or other devices.

HOW THE DRIVEWAY MONITORING SYSTEM WORKS:
The DA-500 DriveWAY Monitor & Vehicle Sensor System is mounted easily in your home, office or place of business. The sensor is buried about 6" deep, parallel to the driveway or area being protected. By a simple adjustment at the control box, the sensitivity of the sensor’s operating range and the length of sound time for the electronic whistle can be changed.

The Driveway Monitor works by sensing the motion of a metal object that passes within about eight feet of the buried metal sensor probe. When a car, truck, or other object passes the sensor, a signal is sent through the burial cable to the control panel which activates a small whistle to alert you of visitors. You may also add any of our accessories to extend the usefulness of the Drive Monitor. Systems are available with cable lengths from 10' to 1500'.
