The Murs Alert Vehicle Detection Probe includes a metal detection probe with 50' of direct burial cable, attached to a long range wireless transmitter box.
Ideal for monitoring the movement
of vehicles in remote areas. The weatherproof transmitter operates on 6
AA batteries and will send an alert signal to either of the Murs
transceivers - the base station or the portable handheld transceiver
(not included) to let you know when visitors have arrived. The MURS
MAPS will send a signal several miles, which makes it a useful tool for
many different applications. Simply bury or place the probe beside or
under the driveway, and mount the transmission box on a nearby tree or
post. The probe vehicle sensor only detects moving metal so you will
never receive false alarms from animals, birds etc.
