SCADA
3000 Expansion Modules
You can expand the capabilities
of your SCADA 3000 even more with six available modules.
UNIVERSAL INPUT MODULE
With eight input channels
identical to the 16 universal inputs on the SCADA 3000 main unit,
this module allows you to add even more sensors and transducers,
including NO/NC dry contacts, digital logic, run-time accumulation,
0-5V analog, 4–20mA analog, and 10K thermistors. It features
12-bit resolution, differential inputs, a 24V supply for powering
4–20mA loops, and low-power operation.
PULSE COUNT MODULE
This module features
four totalizing pulse count channels and four virtual channels which
can be programmed to calculate various rates or to display count
overflow. The four pulse count channels are capable of counting
pulses at a rate of up to 10,000 pulses per second (10Khz). The
four virtual channels can be programmed to calculate the pulse rate
as either pulses per second, pulses per minute, or pulses per hour.
THERMOCOUPLE MODULE
This optional module
features four thermocouple inputs that can be independently configured
to accept type E, J, K,T, R, or S thermocouples, dramatically extending
the range of temperatures the SCADA 3000 can monitor.
RELAY OUTPUT MODULE
The eight latching relay
output channels on the Relay Output Module are identical to the
eight relay outputs on the SCADA 3000 main unit, and can be used
to switch equipment on and off. The relays are rated at 2 Amps and
125 VAC.
ANALOG OUTPUT MODULE
This module features
four analog output signals that can be configured as 4–20mA
or 0–10V. The outputs can be used to control equipment, drive
digital displays, or provide information to other computer devices.
Each output is capable of driving up to 1000 Ohms and may be controlled
automatically by either the Ladder or C programs in the SCADA 3000.
ANNUNCIATOR MODULE
This module provides
8 programmable LED indicators to display the status of assigned
I/O points. The LEDs are bi-color (red/amber), and therefore always
on, thus eliminating false readings due to a burned-out LED.
